Verify the source before downloading
APK safety begins before the download. Verify the page, file name and instructions, and leave any source that requests a password, OTP or payment detail merely to provide an Android file.
Among several links, prefer the source with clear installation details. Avoid unexplained shortened URLs, forced extra apps and files distributed through public groups.
Android settings to review
Android blocks installations from outside the store by default. Give the browser or file manager temporary permission for the XX1 APK, then remove that access immediately after setup.
